  • Cusco, a beautiful city located in the South of Peru, at 3400 meters above sea level considered the capital of the Empire of the Incas, was declared by UNESCO as "World cultural and natural heritage". Also known as the archaeological Capital of America and the navel of the world, this city is full of culture, history and architecture. Their characteristics are these features that make unique and recognized around the world, the archaeological remains left by the Inca culture still remain intact.

  • We start the tour by visiting the Cathedral of Cusco, the Sagrada Familia church, and the triumph Church that are monuments of great artistic value were built on the Palace of the Inca Wiracocha and even today you can see inside works carved in wood as a choir, pulpit, altars and beautiful paintings of the Cusco school “Bellas Artes” and even works in embossed silver.

  • Also known as the Temple of the Sun, it is located a few meters from the main square of Cusco city. It is a religious center built to worship the Dios Sol, in the construction of this wonderful temple there is the ultimate expression of architecture and Inca engineering. In its interior you can see beautiful paintings from the Cusco's colonial art school.

  • It's an impressive Inca construction, located 2 km north of the city, is one of the most significant archaeological legacies that has the city of the Cusco, due to its enormous construction and use of massive stones carved and United with a precision millimeter, some of which are 9 meters or 30 feet in height. This is a strategic location from which you can see the entire city of Cusco.

  • Located 4 km northeast of the city of the Cusco, are caves carved by the Incas in which you can see small shrines where the Incas mummified their dead, had a purely religious role, on the outside is an amphitheater in a way semicircular with trapezoidal niches and a monolith that pretends to be a Cougar of 6m of height approximately.

  • It means "red fortress" because of its reddish color due to the large amount of iron containing in its stones, on-site you will appreciate an attractive architecture, such as fountains, aqueducts and several enclosures of the Inca. It is said that this place was an old Inn that served as a rest and make guardianship to take care of Tambomachay.

  • This building is known as the baths of the Inca, but some argue that it was actually a temple of worship to the water. Tambomachay archaeological site is located about 8 km north of the city of Cusco, in the southern highlands of the Peru. Tambomachay in Spanish or Tampumachay (quechua: tanpu mach'ay, resting place) is located in the surroundings of Cusco. It is an archaeological site that was intended for the cult of the water and to the head of the Empire Inca could rest. It consists of a series of aqueducts, canals and several waterfalls that flow through the rocks. The surprising thing about this is that the Incas created a waterfall main, two secondary waterfalls, which are exactly the same. Here there is a kind of Royal Garden whose irrigation came from a complicated system of channels especially made for such a function. Likewise constituted a control area of persons coming from the Antisuyo, because there existed a control tower. Among its most important tourist attractions are the thermal baths located 800 m from the village are attributed to the medicinal properties and that give name to the same.

  • With an extension comprising little more than 35,000 acres, the historic sanctuary of Machu Picchu is much more than a set of archaeological sites nestled in the abrupt cloud forest. At the same time, Machu Picchu is considered a masterpiece of architecture and engineering. Its peculiar architectural and landscape features, and the veil of mystery that has woven to her around much of the literature published on the site, have become one of the most popular tourist destinations on the planet. Seen from the air, the territory of the sanctuary is shown as a great book open in half, with the Urubamba River in its central part and two large chains of mountains falling either side of a deep valley covered by tropical vegetation. The historic sanctuary of Machu Picchu was recognized by UNESCO in 1983 as humanity's Natural and Cultural Heritage and on 7 July 2007, Machu Picchu was chosen as one of the new wonders of the world in a ceremony held in Lisbon Portugal.

  • It is at the eastern end of the Sacred Valley. The Valley is narrow here that in Urubamba or Pisac, with the mountains closest to each side, to make a more dramatic atmosphere. Located at the foot of an ancient archaeological site, the small town of Ollantaytambo with 2000 habitants, is the most beautiful city in the Sacred Valley. The city is located above the main road and built on uneven terrain. The stone stairs are beautifully framed by stone arches. Ollantaytambo is one of the only two places in the Sacred Valley to take the train to Aguas Calientes, at the foot of Machu Picchu. Although the majority of the people take the train from Cusco to Aguas Calientes directly, travel from Ollantaytambo is a shorter and less expensive train ride.

  • The town of Machu Picchu, formerly called Aguas Calientes. This name is derived from the thermal water sources located in the Creek that serves as a stage to the village, which congregate each dusk to hundreds of passengers, including those who complete the journey of the Inca Trail and want to recharge your batteries after the grueling days of Trek. Originally, the village consisted of a long "Street" that stretched on both sides of the railway. Over the years, the town grew to encompassing a larger area, Ravine up. It currently has a main square in addition to a busy main road that winds its way to the baths in the upper part of the Gorge.

  • The Temple of the three Windows is an Inca construction that is located in the historic sanctuary of Machu Picchu. This temple is one of the most emblematic structures of the complex that is interesting not only for its origin, but also because of inscriptions that still today can be seen in the walls and showing that the place already would have been discovered before 1911 when the expedition of Hiram Bingham arrived. The Temple of the three Windows receives this name precisely by three windows that has and that are larger are of the whole. It is thought that the three windows that are in this complex were made symbolically to represent through them the Tamputoco, also known as Pacaritambo. A hill that Andean legend, had three windows, from which would have emerged the “Hermanos Ayar”, along with their wives. The Temple of the three Windows is comprised of only three walls that sit on a rectangular platform. Some think that the windows seen in one of the walls of the temple were originally five, but only 3 were at the end of the set. Studies of the Temple of three Windows, also reveal that those openings, respond to a ritual purpose, since their orientation is to the Sun.
